HP: Study HoursWinter had come quickly and had been particularly harsh this year at Hogwarts--the hills were already covered with a thin sheet of ice, though it was only mid-November. Students wore their cloaks over two layers of sweaters, and if they were lucky enough to know them, would often cast warming spells on their shoes.

For Claire Snodgrass, a seventh year Hufflepuff, it was just one more winter--one more semester to go until she could graduate. She could already use magic outside of school, of course, as the trace on her was lifted the minute she turned seventeen. But she had one more year of exams, peer pressure, and...Snape to go.
